Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TripWheel ("we", "our", the "Service") handles information. TripWheel is a private, single-operator tool used by its owner to manage content for their own Instagram professional account. It has no public users and no sign-up.

Information we access

• Instagram account data — via the official Meta Graph API, using an access token the operator authorizes: the operator's own Instagram professional account ID, and the technical status of media containers the operator publishes.
• Content submitted by the operator — links and media the operator chooses to process.
• Operational data — job status, timestamps, and error logs needed to run the Service reliably.

We do not collect data from any third party's Instagram account, do not access followers or private messages, and do not offer the Service to other users.

How we use it

• To prepare and publish or schedule content to the operator's own Instagram account.
• To notify the operator of job status and errors.
• To maintain reliability (retries, duplicate prevention, logs).

Third-party services

To operate, TripWheel sends data to these providers under their own privacy terms:

• Meta Platforms — publishing via the Instagram Graph API.
• Google (Gemini API) — analyzing a low-resolution proxy of media to assist layout and captions.
• DigitalOcean — hosting and temporary media storage; published media files are removed after publishing.
• Telegram — the operator's private control and notification channel.

Retention

Per-job working files are deleted once a job completes. Temporary hosted media is deleted immediately after publishing, and any stray files are swept within 24 hours. Operational logs are rotated and retained only as long as needed to run the Service.

Data deletion

The operator may delete all stored data at any time. See our Data Deletion page for instructions.

Security

Access tokens and credentials are stored only on the operator's own server with restricted permissions. The control interface is private and not exposed to the public internet.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly.
